Calvary Baptist Church is committed to wise and godly management of our resources. We want to be faithful with God's gifts, and to create a welcoming ministry environment for the people he brings our way.
Last year, we noticed that our numbers on Sunday morning had reached a point at which the sanctuary was too full for people to feel comfortable and welcome, so we added a second service. However, we want this to be a temporary arrangement; it is our ideal to have everyone in the CBC family worshipping under the same roof at the same time!
To this end, we decided to explore our options for expanding our facility. We teamed up with a local architect to produce the designs in the pictures on this page, which are posted on the back wall at the Church.
However, we have a long way to go before we have the money to break ground! We want to set a good example for our families and community by saving, rather than borrowing, in order to build. Right now, we are setting aside any extra money that comes in each month for our expansion fund, and we are accepting donations designated for this purpose too.
